Research Biography

Bacharel in Biomedical Informatics at University of São Paulo (2006), Master in Genetics at University of São Paulo (2009) and PhD in Genetics at Ribeirão Preto Medical School, University of São Paulo (2012). PostDoc in Bioinformatics at Medical School of Ribeirão Preto with a research internship at the Broad Institute – MIT / Harvard (2014). My previous experiences included artificial intelligence and functional genomics projects, focusing on the analysis of transcriptome data, from microarrays and RNA-seq experiments. Her research interests include fungal genomics and transcriptional analysis and metagenomics analysis. Since 2014, I am a bioinformatics process specialist at CTBE, working mainly in omics analysis, such as genomics, transcriptomics, metagenomics and metatranscriptomics, aiming to explore microorganisms and enzymes with biotechnological potential for second-generation ethanol production from cellulosic biomass.
