Research Biography
Chemical Engineer graduated from the Industrial University of Santander (UIS), Bucaramanga, Colombia. He obtained the M.Sc. Degree in Chemical Engineering from the State University of Campinas (Unicamp), Campinas, Brazil. Currently, he is pursuing his PhD Degree in Chemical Engineering in the State University of Campinas. He has experience in the areas of process intensification, computational fluid dynamics (CFD), modeling and processes simulation. Since 2013 acts as a Process Specialist at the Pilot Plant for Process Development (PPDP) of the Brazilian Bioethanol Science and Technology Laboratory (CTBE) being responsible for the physical treatment processes of biomass (milling, sieving, cleaning), physical-chemical treatment of sugarcane bagasse (pretreatment, delignification) and separation and purification of process streams.
